Welcome!  I’m so glad you are here!  I’m Sha and I’m a family photographer located between Peoria and Farmington Il.

Most days you can find me procrastinating about doing the laundry while chasing around my six year old, answering emails, chugging coffee, spending too much time on social media, cooking something (always) or shuttling one of the five kids here or there.

I started this photography journey in 2015 during a freezing and miserable January.  I joined a challenge where you take a picture every day for a year, a 365 project.  I learned so much, so quickly, while using my camera daily. I still enjoy looking back at those photos. Some were so bad (lol), but some were pretty decent and that’s what pushed me ahead to the next day.  I became obsessed with creating beautiful images. That snowballed into countless classes and workshops.  Now here I am, doing what I slowly taught myself and loving every session.

My clients are awesome. I really mean that too! I’ve met some amazing people, hilarious people, sincere, beautiful, interesting, lovely humans. It’s definitely a perk to the job!
