Bohemian Studio, Farmington Il

Bohemian studio was a whim I came up with during the cold months. I had taken all of my regular house decor and put it in storage while all of the Christmas decorations took center stage. After I gathered it all I realized I had the perfect setup for a bohemian look. I also realized I have an embarrassing amount of fake plants (because I kill real ones unless they are cactus, lol!) All that was needed was a twin size bed frame, headboard and mattress. Amazon to the rescue as always:)

This was my first go at a ‘mini session’ project. Unfortunately there wasn’t a lot of takers, but the few I did were super cool! It was a great setup for mommy and me and siblings. It was also nice to be in a warm cozy studio during the freezing days!

I tested the set up with my daughter and her bestie and they had a ball! They are such cuties! (First image)

Then I had the sweetest mom/daughter duo, the blonde beauties:) They were fun and I think we had a gallery in about 10 minutes! Mama’s smile was infectious!

I was also honored when a fellow photographer contacted me and wanted to have a session with her two daughters. They came dressed the bohemian part, headbands and all! They were a blast to work with and even though the pressure was on high (as always with photographing another photographer) it went as smooth as could be!

I just love them all and I’m considering holding another next winter, but more of an all white and cream set up. At least I have nearly a year to shop to prepare, lol!

    Unsurprisingly, younger digital generations have embraced cryptocurrency quicker than most.
